Choosing a website platform can feel overwhelming — especially when everyone has a strong opinion.
The truth is: there’s no “best” platform, only the right one for your business.
Here’s how I usually explain it to clients.
Wix – simple and quick
Good for:
Small businesses
DIY updates
Straightforward sites
Things to consider:
Less design flexibility
Can feel restrictive as your business grows
Webflow – clean, modern, powerful
Good for:
Businesses that care about design
Performance and SEO
Long-term scalability
Things to consider:
Not designed for full DIY building
Usually best when managed by a designer
👉 This is my go-to platform for most client projects.
WordPress – flexible but maintenance-heavy
Good for:
Content-heavy sites
Blogs and large CMS setups
Things to consider:
Requires updates and maintenance
Plugins can cause issues if unmanaged
So which should you choose?
Ask yourself:
Do I want to update it myself?
Do I care more about simplicity or flexibility?
Is this a short-term or long-term site?
If you’re unsure, that’s completely normal — choosing the platform is part of the service I offer.
👉 I’ll always recommend what’s right for you, not what’s trendy.
